Williams will be strong advocate for children, education

To the Editor:

Many of you know me as a business owner in Webster City, and many of you may know me as a member of HERO. But, today I want to tell you about one of my Heroes.

This woman is a true inspiration to me, I admire her fierce determination to overcome adversity. I admire her devotion and loyalty to her family, friends and community. I admire her dedication to the children of this school district and their education. It is for these reasons that I am asking you to vote for Linda Williams for the Webster City school board on Sept. 12.

Linda has her teaching degree as well as a Masters degree in administration and has worked in the Webster City public schools for over 30 years in two very important capacities; as an elementary counselor (the beloved “Pocket Lady”) and also as the curriculum director. She was outstanding in both positions. Linda will advocate for our children and their educations, as well as their educators. She has worked in the trenches and will bring that perspective to the board.

So please, mark your calendars now for Sept. 12 and vote for my Hero, Linda Williams for Webster City school board.
