To the Editor:

On Wednesday Oct. 19, 2016, our FFA test plot committee harvested their corn. Our test plot is located on the south side of Webster City Medical Clinic. The test plot harvested 16 different varieties in our five-acre field. Our FFA Chapter uses the Test Plot for educational purposes.

Several community members helped with the Test Plot this year. Area seeds representatives from the following company’s including, Champion Seed- Bill Rob, Dekalb–United Cooperative-Tim Scott, Renk Seed–Rick Borts, Prairie Brand Seed– Zach Klaver, and Gold Harvest–Mark Brim. Also a huge thank you goes to The Cassidy Brothers donating their time, and combine.

FFA would also like to thank VanDiest Supply Company, and United Cooperative for spraying, and fertilizing our field. Another huge thank you goes Zach Klaver for donating his time, and his weight wagon.
