To the Editor:

I proudly endorse Ken Peck for Hamilton County Sheriff. Ken was a deputy for the Tama County Sheriff Office; I worked alongside him and was his supervisor for 4.5 years. Ken has extensive knowledge of law enforcement and his professionalism was exercised at all times.

He had the respect of all law enforcement agencies throughout Tama County for his willingness to serve the citizens and for the way he conducted himself. This was particularly true within the Tama County Sheriff Office.

As a sheriff myself, I know the expectations of the position firsthand and believe Ken is very capable of performing these duties. His professionalism, maturity and personality make him an excellent choice for the position of Hamilton County Sheriff.
