To the Editor:

I want to personally thank all of the volunteers who helped with our clean-up day at the Webster Theater this morning. It was amazing.

There must have been at least 40 people there, of all ages, from children to senior citizens. There were even three people from out of state who just happened to be in Webster City working and saw what we were doing and decided to pitch in. This is the reason I live here, I love the people and their generosity in all things.

We filled a huge roll off dumpster, as well as a scrap metal dumpster and had a lot of things for a new gal in town who is opening a salvage and vintage shop in our fair city. There is still plenty to do, however. There will be more paint and cleaning days, so watch the paper and Facebook. But until then, thanks again for all of the fantastic help today, folk. You all rock!
