To the Editor:

I cannot begin to thank everyone who helped make the benefit for Dave Kepler a huge success. It was amazing to see all the people who came to support Becky and Dave. Everything – the meal, bake sale, quilt drawing and silent auction went better than we could have ever imagined. More than $15,000 was raised to help with all the medical costs Dave has incurred.

Special thanks to Wendy’s of Fort Dodge, Webster City Custom Meats, Windsor Manor, The Daily Freeman Journal and KQWC for all their donations and help and to the Church of Christ for the use of The Bridge. Also, to all the people who volunteered their time and donated all the great silent auction items. We couldn’t have done it without you.
