To the Editor:

The Friends of Kendall Young Library would like to say thank you to everyone who made the recent book sale such a success.

Chairpersons Shirley Yungclas and Mabel Prescott would like to say thanks to all the volunteers who turned the meeting room into a book shop by putting up tables and moving books from boxes onto those tables, to the volunteers who sold the books, to the volunteers who boxed up the unsold books and took down the tables, to those who donated their books to be sold, and especially everyone who came to buy the books we had to offer. All of these efforts helped produce a profit of $2,500 for this sale which will aid Friends in providing help to the library. There is another sale planned for the spring.
