James Jay Janssen

OCALA, Fla. — James Jay Janssen passed away July 28th, 2023 at his home after a short battle with cancer. Jim was born June 3rd, 1955 to Glen and Donna Janssen of Williams, IA. He was raised in the Williams and Blairsburg area and graduated from Northeast Hamilton Community Schools in 1974. Jim lived and worked in Webster City for a few years before moving to Florida. Once he settled in Florida he enjoyed a 33 year career with the Sherwin Williams Company, retiring in 2014. Jim was united in marriage on May 23, 1980, to Barb Bender at Captiva Island, Florida.
