Jane Schroder
Jane Schroder, 82, of Noblesville, Indiana died Wednesday, January 21, 2026. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with caring for Jane’s family.
Jane Frances Anderson, daughter of Clarence and Mildred (Adams) Anderson, was born October 14, 1943 in Tawas, Michigan. She graduated from Eagle Grove high school in 1961, and her yearbook motto was, “A ball of fire, impossible to extinguish.” Jane was a registered nurse and worked many years caring for others, some of her best times were working with her mother at the Hamilton Hospital in Webster City. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and grandmother. As a nurse, helping people wasn’t just her job — it was who she was, and she never stopped. Everyone who knew her understood what an honor and blessing it was to have her in their life.
She is survived by her sons, Mitchell Schroder of Noblesville, Indiana, Mark Schroder of West Des Moines and grandchildren, Jacqueline, Abbey, Seth and Trevor.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck in 2015; grandson, Robert Schroder; brothers, John “Jack” Anderson, James Anderson and Joe Anderson.
