Thomas “Tom” Robert

Thomas “Tom” Michael Robert, 78, of Williams, Iowa passed away on February 28, 2025. A graveside service was held on March 22, 2025, in St. Mary's Cemetery in Williams.

Tom was born on December 12, 1946 in Waterloo, Iowa, to Lewis and Mary (Duffy) Robert. He grew up in Williams and attended school at NE Hamilton Community School. Tom studied at Loras College and Drake Law School.

He served honorably in the Air Force and worked as a lawyer. Tom was a unique individual with a great mind for detail. He loved animals and taking care of them. Tom was passionate about helping others by donating his time and sharing food from his garden with the less fortunate. He enjoyed shopping and sharing gifts with others. Tom was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Williams. Tom had many friends who will cherish his memory.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by cousins Sandra, Jon, Jackie, Tim, Michael, Steven Lanigan, and Gigi (Lanigan) Burns, of Raymond, Fairbank, Waterloo & Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Lenexa, Kansas. Tom is dearly missed by his cousins who cherished his visits, phone calls, and his homegrown sweet corn!
