Geraldine Duffy
Geraldine “Gerry” Duffy, 101, of Indianola, formerly of Webster City, died Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Westview Care Center in Indianola. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 26, 2026, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Calvary Cemetery.
Geraldine Teresa O'Connor, daughter of John and Theresa Fleege O'Connor, was born September 21, 1924, in Burbank, South Dakota. She graduated from Mount Marty Academy in Yankton, South Dakota. On September 16, 1950, Geraldine was united in marriage to Martin F. Duffy in Sioux City. The couple moved to Webster City in 1956. She was Fuller Brush sales representative for many years along with working at the New Castle Inn and Raven’s Real Estate for 20 years.
She is survived by her son, Marty Duffy of Webster City; daughter, Maureen “Mo” (Jeff) Warford of Ankeny; daughter-in-law, Jill Duffy of Indianola; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Martin; sons, Mark Duffy, Kevin Duffy and Steven Duffy, and daughter-in-law, Angie Duffy as well as her five brothers and four sisters.
Mrs. Duffy was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and a school prayer partner.
