Marion Stamp
Marion Stamp, 89, of Webster City, died Friday, December 5, 2025 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 11, 2025, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.
Marion Darline Peekenschneider, daughter of Hugo and Emily (Soules) Peekenschneider, was born February 5, 1936, at home in Aurelia, Iowa. She attended school in the Aurelia area. On October 13, 2001, Marion was united in marriage to Russell Stamp. She worked at the state hospital in Cherokee prior to moving to Webster City. Marion owned and operated Rollison Drapery in Webster City and later worked for home health care.
She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Frtiz of Phoenix, AZ, Dave (Emily) Rollison of Des Moines, Dan (Lisa) Rollison of Cherokee, Sandra Carter, Mary Rowley, Kurt Stamp; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Russell, in 2014; her parents and brothers, Orville and Marvin Peekenschneider.
She was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Marion enjoyed going to Congregate meals, playing 500 and dominos.
