Della Marie Miller
Della Marie Miller, 90, of Ankeny, formerly of Webster City, died Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Arbor Springs in West Des Moines. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 12, 2024, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.
Della Marie Breitenkamp, daughter of William and Minnie (Seiler) Breitenkamp Sr., was born May 25, 1934, in Webster City. She graduated from Blairsburg Consolidated school. On September 27, 1953, Della Marie was united in marriage to Kenneth Wayne Miller at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She worked for over 24 years at Northwestern Bell.
She is survived by her children, Anita Stevenson of Ankeny, Mark (Laura) Miller of Richmond, TX, Rhonda (John) Nielsen of Lake Mills; grandchildren, Laura (Tim) James, Michael (Kathleen) Stevenson, Kayla Stevenson, Erica Stevenson, Elizabeth Drennon, Kevin Drennon, Mark (Maddie) Miller Jr., Matthew Miller, Gina (Brian) Zarate, James Nielsen, Raymond Nielsen; great-granddaughters, Avery, Dylan, and Haven James; great-grandsons, Evan and Ben Stevenson, Wyatt Miller; sister, Geraldine Bisbee of Webster City, and sister-in-law, Donna Miller; and many nieces and nephews.
Della Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her parents; daughter, Teresa Drennon; son-in-law, Bill Stevenson; granddaughter, Marie Nielsen; brother, William (Inez) Breitenkamp; sister, Marilyn (Howard) Sherrow; sister-in-law, Margie (Richard) Brannick and brother-in-law, David Bisbee.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Webster City. Della Marie enjoyed quilting, gardening, canning and her flowers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 905 Beach Street, Webster City.
