Jane Felts

Jane Felts, 76, of Webster City died peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, May 24, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Cass Center Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

Jane Lynn Felts, daughter of Howard and Marcelyn (Hudson) Lake, was born February 24, 1948, in Iowa Falls. She graduated from Webster City High School in 1966 and attended junior college in Webster City. In 1968, Jane married Edward Felts. To this union, three children were born. The couple later divorced. Jane worked for Dr. Buxton, Cedar Falls Hospital, Nissen’s and was a loan secretary for 25 years at First State Bank. Following retirement, she assisted at Maubach/Ihle Tax Service.

She is survived by her children, Michele (Mark) Claude, Stephanie (Mike) Nokes, Jeff (Cami) Felts, all of Webster City; grandchildren, Jacob (Jackie) Claude, Garett (Taylor) Claude, Mason (Jenna) Claude, Makenzie Nokes, Cole (Taylor) Nokes, Cade (Natalie) Felts, Kendyl Felts; great-grandchildren, Mara, Sawyer, Callum, Case and a little one due in August; brothers, Elba Lake and Andy (Pat) Lake, both of Fort Dodge, Kenny (Jacque) Lake of Webster City; sister, Lexie Lake of Webster City and several nieces and nephews. Jane spent many years with her life partner, Jack Osborn of Webster City and his children, Jeff (Staci) Osborn, Jess (Heather) Osborn and their children Brandi, Brittany, Brooklyn, Madison, Braydon.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Marcelyn Lake; sister-in-law, Jean Lake; and nephew, Gary Lake.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Jane loved to spend time with her grandchildren and really enjoyed time with Jack at their lake home in Okoboji. But her favorite place on earth was Orange Beach, Alabama.
