Sharyn Mallo, 81, of Webster City, died November 19, 2022, in Winterset. A Celebration of Life visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church in the fellowship hall. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is assisting the family with the services.
Sharyn Lavon Priester, daughter of Herbert and Frieda (Lettow) Priester, was born October 28, 1941, in Pipestone, MN. She graduated from Pipestone High School in 1959 and attended college at Mankato State. On September 3, 1966, Sharyn was united in marriage to Thomas H. Mallo at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Webster City. The couple resided in Webster City until 2021 when they moved to the Des Moines area to be closer to their son.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Tom of Webster City; sons, Ryan (Julie) Mallo of West Des Moines, Monte (Jim) Mallo-Kreider of Cape Coral, FL; granddaughter, Kaylee Mallo; grandsons, Nate and Tony Sejaan and many extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
