Dennis Craig Knapp, Sr.
Dennis Craig Knapp, Sr., passed away on June 22, 2023, at the age of 77. Dennis was a Navy DC3 seaman, serving five years in the Vietnam War on the USS Ranger aircraft carrier as a damage control specialist (firefighter). After his time in the Navy, he got married and started a family, divorced in 1988 and never remarried. He returned to his native Webster City, Iowa, in 1995, and remained there until two weeks before his death in Texas.
The burial will take place on July 21st at 9:30 AM at Graceland Cemetery in Webster City, Iowa. Immediately following the burial, a reception will be held at the American Legion Post 191 I Webster City (726 2nd St, Webster City, IA 50595) until 1 PM.
