Devora Dawn Crosby, 65 of Hiawatha left us on July 27, 2021, peacefully in her sleep during her stay at St Luke’s Living Center West. She will be interred at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery where she joins her father, Donald H. Crosby, mother, Lora J. Crosby and brother, Kreg L Crosby.

Devora never married or had children, but is survived by her brother Douglas and his wife Margaret, her niece, Jennifer Crosby (Aaron Tucker) with daughter, Emma (Chris Harding) and son Caspian, her nephew and his wife, Matthew and Melanie Crosby and their son and daughter, Dominic Santulli and Caylee P. Crosby.

Devora was born on April 1st, Easter Sunday in 1956 at Webster City Hospital in Webster City Iowa. She resided in a number of Iowa municipalities over the years including Ames, Cedar Rapids, Holstein, Anamosa and Webster City, but called Webster City her home, graduating from the high school there in 1974.

Devora worked at various companies with the most notable being Doerr Electric in Anamosa and Qwik Way Manufacturing in Cedar Rapids. She resided with her parents in both Anamosa and Cedar Rapids from 1975 on, taking care of both her Dad and her Mom through long illnesses. She continued to live in the family home after their passing until just recently.

She will be remembered as a kind and easy to like woman who was generous with her time and a loving, caring daughter. She will be sorely missed by all of us who knew and loved her.
