Christine Kackley, 71, of Webster City died Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Van Diest Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Christine Lyn Kackley, daughter of Cloyd and Beverly (Lee) Hall, was born December 13, 1949 in Fort Dodge. She grew up on a farm in Boxholm and attended Fort Dodge schools. Christine received her nursing degrees from Muscatine and Davenport. On April 22, 1968, she was united in marriage to William Gene Kackley in Fort Dodge. Christine worked as a Registered Nurse for many years in Muscatine. One of her proudest accomplishments was working for the Community Care Center and receiving a perfect rating in the State of Iowa. The couple retired to Webster City in 2010.

She is survived by her husband, William of 53 years; daughter, Jennifer Kackley of Des Moines; son, William “Bill” Kackley of Chicago, IL; granddaughters, Regan Hage and Kaia Jalakas, sister, Claudette Larson of Nevada and her beloved fur-babies Sophie Lou and Jeb.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Cloyd “Rocky” Hall.

She was a master gardener, a member of ASPCA, a lover of all animals, enjoyed swimming, and an amazing Mother. Christine and Bill enjoyed wintering in Florida, and she loved being a part of the “Howl at the Moon Sisters” group.
