CALVIN ANDERSON

Calvin William Anderson passed away on June 8, 2021, and was born September 4, 1927, in Sibley County, Minnesota.

Calvin married Elva Ruby Laucamp and together raised six children. He worked as the manager of the Woolstock Mutual Telephone Association from 1951 until his retirement in 1992.

Calvin is survived by his sons, Calvin Jr. (Joyce) of Clover, SC; Bruce (Patti) of Kennebunk, ME; Mervin (Deb) of Clive, IA; daughters, Colleen of Bondurant, IA; Becky (Bill) Sponsler of Indianola, IA; and daughter-in-law, Cindy (Mark) Anderson of Waukee, IA; 10 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, son, Mark, one brother, and seven sisters.

No services are planned at this time. The burial of Calvin’s cremated remains will be held at a later date at the French Church Cemetery in Woolstock, Iowa. Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ankeny or the Bondurant Public Library.
