Sharon Luppes, 85, of Webster City died Friday, April 23, 2021 at Van Diest Medical Center. A memorial visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Foster Funeral & Cremation Center.
Sharon Mae Caquelin, daughter of Orville and Birda Norman Caquelin, was born October 7, 1935 in Woolstock. She graduated from Woolstock High School and cosmetology school in Fort Dodge. On January 7, 1955, Sharon was united in marriage to Johnnie Luppes Jr. at the Methodist church in Woolstock. She worked alongside her husband farming for many years in the Blairsburg area.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Johnnie of Webster City; daughter, Laurie (Bob) Sutherland of Blairsburg; granddaughters, Sheri (Scott) Olson and Julie (Luke) Brandel both of Blairsburg and great-grandchildren, Charlee and Jax Olson, and Knox and Alyx Brandel.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Birda and Orville Caquelin; in-laws, Johnnie and Pearl Luppes.
Sharon and Johnnie wintered in Mesa, Arizona for 22 years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, spending time with family, vacationing to France, and watching Bob and Scott race.
