Margaret (Peg) Jane Daniels died peacefully of natural causes surrounded by family on April 8, 2021 at the age of 91.

Peg was born February 27, 1930 the daughter of Frank M. and Catherine (Pardee) Horan in Boone, Iowa. For a short time as a child, she lived in St. Joseph, MO and then moved to Webster City, Iowa where she lived most of her life until moving to West Des Moines in 2002.

On July 30, 1947 she was united in marriage to Jack R. Daniels at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Peg was a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother. For a short time, she worked as a dental assistant for Guy Mills. She was always kind and made everyone she met feel comfortable, often being a confidant and the voice of reason. She was fun to be around and loved golfing and playing cards, and if others weren’t available, she played solitaire.

She is survived by her children Jaclyn Daniels of West Des Moines, IA and Mark (Lonita) Daniels of Belle Plaine, MN; grandchildren, Deborah Ewen; Sarah (Martin) Hinrichs; Jennifer Daniels (Ben Brady); and Jeffrey (Brittney) Daniels. Also, three great-grandchildren, Jackson and Zoe Hinrichs and Casen Daniels along with nieces and nephews and their families.

Proceeded in death by her husband, Jack, of 67 years. Her mother and father; brother, William Horan and sister, Frances (Phillips) Narigon.

Graveside services will be held May 22, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Graceland Cemetery in Webster City, Iowa.
