JEFFERY WEST

Jeffery Scott West was born May 7 , 1955 at the Hamilton County Hospital to Beverly and Grayson West.

He attended Webster City High School and after graduating he joined the United States Army following his dad’s footprints. After serving, Jeff became a truck driver and it would become his second love until he passed.

Jeff was united in marriage to Debra Plain on September 21, 1985. Together they had 3 boys. Jeff’s family was his life and he cherished every moment with them.

In his life, Jeff enjoyed hunting and fishing with his boys and buddies, watching westerns and action movies, going to car shows, telling jokes, driving his old Chevy, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Deb, sons Darren (Rose), Dustin (Shyla), and Devin (Shilea); his grandchildren Hannah, Kaitlyn, Samantha, Morgan, Autumn, Kyler, and Kellen; his sister Jacquie (Randy)McCollough, nieces and nephews, Regan (Brian) Peck, Tyler and Cody McCollough, and Jamie Weathers of San Diego, California. Jeff is also survived by his cousin Lisa Davis (Jim Gatewood) and by his favorite mother in Law Darlene Plain of Gowrie, IA; Along with brother-in-law Dennis ( Brenda) Plain, Daryl ( Buck) Plain, sister-in-law Darla Heller, and sister-in-law Tammy West of El Cajon, California.

His parents preceded Jeff in death, sister Jill West, brother Roger West, and Bill Jensen.
