CURT LEMON
Curt Lemon, 83, of Webster City passed away peacefully on November 17, 2020, following a few years of declining health. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 21 at Boman Funeral Home, with Pastor Gina Sterk officiating. The family will be at the funeral home at noon. Per current mandates, masks and social distanced seating are required for the funeral, and there will be no luncheon. The family has chosen Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) to care for their needs.
Curt was born in Webster City, Iowa to Adelia (Davidson) and Ray Lemon on September 5, 1937. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1956 and on Thanksgiving Day the same year he married Carol Singer. He was a farmer and trucker all his life. Curt served in the National Guard for 7 years, was on the hospital board for twelve years and was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Curt’s family includes his wife; three daughters: Julie Krusemark, Teresa Rotschafer and Claudia (Curt) Tigges; eight grandchildren: Curtis (Heather) Krusemark, Chrissy (Roger) Yoder, Cailen (Jonathon) Krusemark, Katie (Bob) Merriam, Carmen (Clay Wallerstedt) Rotschafer, David (Heather) Buttery, Alex (Tom) Larson, and Rachel Buttery; seventeen great grandchildren: Michael, Hunter, Sierra, Wesley, Lucas, Johnathan, Brooke, Tyler, Grace, Hank, Wyatt, Michael D., Riley, Eleanor, Josey, Jace and Sunny; sister and brother-in-law Tom and Carolyn Maudlin; brother -in-law and sisters-in-law Noel and Linda Singer and Bonnie Hoversten; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son; an infant brother, Duane; brother-in-law Harold Hoversten; and niece Ann Caudle.
