CLARENCE “CLANCY” BERLEEN
DES MOINES — Clarence “Clancy” Berleen, 71, of Des Moines passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020. Per his wishes, his body was donated to the University of Iowa and there will be no services.
Clancy retired from a career as a computer systems analyst with the State of Iowa. Clancy and Margaret spent the first years of their retirement traveling in their 5th wheel camper. They spent several winters at Wilderness Lakes campground in Mathis, Texas.
Clancy enjoyed crafts and bluegrass music. Clancy and Margaret spent many wonderful evenings playing music with good friends. He was a kind and gentle soul and will be greatly missed.
Clancy is survived by his wife, Margaret Ward. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Denny and Carol.
