Bob Draeger, 74, of Webster City went home to be with The Lord on Thursday, December 13, 2018. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 18th at 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 10 a.m. The family has chosen Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) to care for their needs.

Bob was born February 9, 1944 in Marshalltown, IA. to Melvin and Vera (Manning) Draeger. The family later moved to Webster City where he graduated from the Webster City High School in 1963. Bob was united in marriage to Kathy Gordon on May 16, 1964. He worked at A. J Allen’s in Des Moines from 1977 until he retired in 1999. He was a proud member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 33.

Bob enjoyed working with his hands. Whether he was tinkering on scooters and doodle bugs, playing cribbage at D. J. Trophys or being at the races, he enjoyed being active. The thing that meant the most to him was being with his family. They were his life.

Bob is survived by sons: Troy “Tank” (Mary Ellen) Draeger and Tracy (Kari) Draeger; four grandchildren: Dalton, Mallory, Jacob and Kira; and two sisters: Janet McCutchen and Joy Draeger. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Kathy in 2014; their son Todd; sister Evelyn Ball; and brother Glen Draeger.
