This is last weekend for Chamber of Commerce punchcards to enter drawing

The Chamber of Commerce “Shop Local Punchcard” promotion has ended for the $100 drawing, but this weekend and early next week you can still earn punches spending with Webster City Chamber members for a drawing for gift baskets. Punchcards are marked by local business for spending in $20 increments. When it is filled it will be placed in a drawing for the gift baskets from Webster City Chamber of Commerce members.

Third Thursday Coffee is today at Karl Chevrolet

The Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce Third Thursday coffee will be held today at Karl Chevrolet on the west side of Webster City. The coffee will be from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Karl Chevrolet is located at 1705 West Second St. The Third Thursday coffees allow business owners to meet and engage with community members in a relaxed, small-town environment. There will be light refreshments, conversations and updates from the city and chamber of commerce. For new businesses or community members, it is a chance to network, build relationships and experience the warmth of our community.

Hamilton County Board of Health meets tonight

The Hamilton County Board of Health meets tonight, Dec. 18, at 5:15 p.m. The meeting will be held at 1610 Collins Street, Suite 1 in the conference room. The agenda includes the administrators report, home health report, financial report and environmental services reports. Discussion will also be held on letters from Medicare involving the cost report for both fiscal year 2024 and 2025. Discussion will also be held on the fiscal year budget for 2027.

Kamrar Lions host Christmas with Santa Saturday

The Kamrar Lions are hosting Santa Claus on Saturday, Dec. 20, at the Kamrar Lions building. The Kamrar Lions building is located at 430 Elm Street in Kamrar. The Lions club will be providing donuts and hot chocolate from 2 to 4 p.m. Santa will be arriving at 3 p.m.
