WCCT Summer Youth Theatre camp registrations due soon

Do you know a child that would enjoy learning more about theatre ? Three professional teaching artists from Footliters Traveling Playhouse in Coralville will again lead campers as they audition for, rehearse, and perform the original musical, "The Great Zoo Escape." The performance will take place August 7 at 6:30 p.m. Camp will be held daily from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm August 3-7 at Webster City Community Theatre, 1001 Willson Avenue. Market nights celebrates the classics

Hopes are high for a dry Market night this week, as the Classic Car exhibit lines up to show off their finest in downtown Webster City. Market Nights continue tonight from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in downtown Webster City. Last week Market nights had to be cancelled, when torrents of rain forced the exhibitors to close up before they had fully unpacked their wares. Webster City Chamber of Commerce taking new direction

The Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce is making some major changes, according to an emailed letter sent from Jamie Griffith to Chamber members yesterday. Griffith has been serving as the Executive Director since January. A new partnership has been formed with the Ames Regional Economic Alliance. Sixty-five lucky people had seats for the Webster City debut of American Roots musician and vocalist Jeni Grouws Sunday afternoon at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Webster City. Grouws powerfully connected with her audience with two hours of music, punctuated with natural friendliness and humorous storytelling.
