Webster City business puzzler Day #3

2 min read

The puzzle that takes watching each day of the newspaper continues today. Starting with last Friday’s newspaper and Our Hometown, readers can be part of a scavenger hunt style puzzle will conclude at the end of Ladies Night Out on Thursday. We are including photos of business owners and employees who are participating with the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce, Ladies Night Out event, which is not identified with any explanation.

This is on purpose.

The Daily Freeman Journal will put a photo somewhere in the newspaper each day until Thursday without identifying the business or the people in the photo. It's up to the readers to identify the business name, location and the name of the person who is in the photo. It might be an owner, a full-time employee, a manager or a part-time employee. We want you to learn who they are.

There are five photos in the Friday issue of "Our Hometown" in addition to the front page photo. Submissions should be turned in by 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29 to the Daily Freeman Journal office. Forms will be available at the DFJ office to complete for the drawing. Just keep track of the answers, until time to pick up a form.

There are over 20 businesses participating with Ladies Night Out this year, including some pop-up businesses throughout Second and Seneca Streets. One clue is that none of the photos will be of the pop-up businesses, but it may be of the host business where they are located.

Today's mystery is below.

Anyone who can identify all the businesses and all the individuals in each of the photos will be put into a drawing for a gift basket from Webster City businesses. Employees of the Chamber of Commerce and the Daily Freeman Journal are ineligible to win.

It’s not hard getting to know our businesses, just walk in the door. You might be surprised who is working inside.

Starting at /week.
