There were lines, and large numbers of families, friends and siblings out on the streets Thursday night helping the little ones, and sharing in the fun and excitement of Halloween in downtown Webster City. Dozens of businesses stayed open late Thursday, while other businesses who do not have a presence on main street, parked their vehicles, opened their trunks, and proceeded to join in the fun.
It was estimated to draw between 500 and 800 people, but no one was really counting. It was a busy night for all.
Trick or Treat in downtown Webster City is coordinated by the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce each year, but the real success comes from the businesses participating and the families who join in the fun each and every year.
