Starting with this week’s publication Our Hometown, and continuing until Thursday, Oct. 22, there will be photos of business owners and employees who are participating with the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce, Ladies Night Out event, that are not identified in a cutline.
This is on purpose.
This is an opportunity for our shoppers to learn about the many different businesses which are participating with Ladies Night Out, and the people who take care of the business. The people in the photo can be an owner, a part-time employee, or a manager. We want you to learn who they are.
The Daily Freeman Journal will continue to put a photo or two in each day until Thursday without identifying the business or the people in the photo. Each day, take a look at the photos with no cutlines, no identity and see if you know who they are and what business they are working at, write it down, and then watch for the next day. There are five of these in today’s “Our Hometown” publication, and one above. Start a list, write down the name of the business, the name of the person, and continue until next Thursday. Then turn in the complete list for a drawing which will be held next Thursday during the downtown Trick or Treat event. There are over 20 businesses participating with Ladies Night Out this year, including some pop-up businesses throughout Second St. and Seneca St.
Anyone who can identify all the businesses and all the individuals in each of the photos will be eligible. Employees of the Chamber of Commerce and the Daily Freeman Journal are ineligible to win.
So have some fun, write down what you know, then make it a night of fun during Ladies Night Out, explore each business, meet the people working and get to know the people who keep downtown Webster City a fun place to shop.
