Ladies, grab your "ghoul friends" and get in the Halloween spirit at Ghouls' Night Out on Friday, October 30. Come in costume if you dare! The Women's Club welcomes you to the Jane Young House for an evening of snacks and drinks, games, prizes, and a performance by the Over the Speed Limit Players.

Senior theatre actors from Webster City Community Theatre will entertain with readings from "Love, Loss and What I Wore." Appearing in the cast are Kathy Oliver, Carol Zills, Sylvia Vust, Sally Evans, Mary Sealine and Cathy Olson. Through monologs and ensemble pieces, Gingy and her many friends will share wardrobe memories. Ladies, their stories may stir memories of your own clothing.

The humorous and poignant one act play was written by Nora Ephron and her sister Delia, and is based on the book by Ilene Beckerman. The playwright also wrote "You've Got Mail," "Sleepless in Seattle," "Julie & Julia," and "When Harry Met Sally." LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Dramatic Play Service. www.concordtheatricals.com

Prior to the production, guests will enjoy a variety of tasty snacks and wine or lemonade as they solve Halloween trivia questions, pose for a photo, and admire the holiday decorations.

Guests are invited to tour the exhibits on the second floor to view the displays about clothing stores on Main Street USA, fashions of 1947, and a tribute to America's 250th anniversary.

Members of the Women's Club meet the second Monday afternoon each month March through December. New members are always welcome.

The doors will open at the Jane Young House, 629 Elm Street, at 6 p.m. The play will start at 7:00 pm. The admission of $10 helps the Webster City Women's Club maintain the historical home of Kendall and Jane Young. It is payable by cash or check at the door. Sorry, no cards.

Seating is limited to 50. To reserve seats, text Loween Getter at 515-297-0846 or email her at grandmaweengetter@gmail.com. Leave your name, number of tickets, and phone number.
