The first of two major events for the Webster City Women's Club is drawing near as the first ever "Ghouls' Night Out" will be held on Oct. 30.
This first ever event is intended for the ladies in Hamilton County to get into the spirit of Halloween, with a night designed just for them.
The $10 admission will allow entry into the home full of ghoulish snacks and drinks, tours of the home, and Halloween trivia.
At 7 p.m. there will entertainment from the "Over the Speed Limit Players," a division of the Webster City Community Theatre, as they present a production of the play,
"Love, Loss and What I Wore" a humorous and poignant play connecting women and their wardrobe.
Attendees are invited to come in costume, or to just come and have fun.
Tree sponsors needed
After the Halloween event, time will be short to plan a tree representing your business, your family, your organization, or just for fun.
It's time to think about how to make the Jane Young House glow for the 5th Annual Festival of Trees. This will be held on December 4 and 5. Community members, individuals, organizations and businesses can sign up now to participate by bringing a tree and decorating it for this annual fundraiser for the Jane Young House.
All proceeds from these events help support the Webster City Women's Club and the Jane Young House.
