SANDRA GREUFE
Webster City High School – Family Consumer Sciences
Sandra Greufe is a graduate of Humboldt High School in Humboldt, Iowa. She earned her degrees (BS and MA) in Library School Media Studies, and Family and Consumer Sciences from her time at Iowa Lakes Community College, Iowa State University and the University of Northern Iowa. She was a substitute teacher in Webster City, and a Library Services Manager at Ellsworth Community College. This year, she will be teaching Family Consumer Sciences at Webster City High School for all grade levels.
Sandra and her husband Randy have three children: Kaleigh, Levi, and Landon. She enjoys spending time with her family, baking, sewing, reading, doing crafts and creating hands-on projects. She is most excited about building meaningful connections with her students and fellow staff members while making a positive impact on their learning. Her goal is to create a classroom where students feel supported, challenged and excited to learn.
KAMRY OLSON
Sunset Heights Elementary – 2nd Grade
Kamry Olson is a graduate of Webster City High School. She received her degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Northern Iowa. She taught 2nd grade at Eagle Grove Elementary for three years. This year, she will be teaching 2nd grade at Sunset Heights Elementary.
Kamry has been married to her husband, Caleb for two years, and they have a 9 month old son named Royce. She loves to stay busy; going on walks, being outside, doing puzzles, shopping and spending most of her time with friends and family. She is most excited about teaching in her hometown and returning to the elementary school that she attended. She looks forward to continuing to teach 2nd grade while reconnecting with familiar faces and families and building new relationships within the school and community. She is also really excited to collaborate with a new team of educators and learn from them.
REGAN SANDERSFELD
Sunset Heights Elementary – 2nd Grade
Regan Sandersfeld is a graduate of Williamsburg High School in Williamsburg, Iowa. She earned her degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in reading and English Language Arts from the University of Iowa. She did her student teaching at the Iowa City Community School District at Norman Borlaug Elementary in a 1st grade classroom. She absolutely loved teaching the sweet kiddos she had, and she knew she wanted to be a lower elementary teacher. This year she will be teaching 2nd grade at Sunset Heights Elementary.
Regan just moved to Ames and she is having so much fun exploring the area. She is originally from a small town in southeastern Iowa. Her family consists of her mom, dad, and her younger brother. She has a spoiled goldendoodle named Piper who is almost six years old. In her free time, she loves to visit her family and pup back home, go out for coffee with friends and go shopping. Her favorite places to go are Starbucks and Target. She is most excited to meet all of her students and build relationships with everyone. She knows Sunset Heights will be a fantastic place to teach.
