The family owned business of Van Diest Supply was recognized by the City of Webster City for their 70 years of business in Hamilton County Friday during their 70th anniversary celebration.
Representing the City of Webster City and the Van Diest Company are in the back row, from left to right, Zach Chizek, Webster City City Attorney; Jake Van Diest, Van Diest Supply Company President; Webster City City Manager John Harrenstein; Mayor of Webster City, John Hawkins; Van Diest Supply Company Sales Manager, Jack Van Diest and Van Diest Supply Company Vice President, John Van Diest.
Seated are the founders of the company, Bob Van Diest, Chairman of the Board and his wife and first employee, Mary Van Diest.
The family and employees welcomed the community onto their property on Friday with an open house, lunch and tours of their facilities.
