Tickets are now on sale for Webster City Community Theatre's upcoming production of Birthday Club, a comedy by playwright Phil Olson.
Birthday Club follows five women who gather to celebrate their birthdays together. But between the cake, candles and birthday wishes, their gatherings reveal the joys, frustrations, surprises and challenges that come with friendship and life. Filled with humor and heart, the play celebrates the special bonds that sustain us through life's many changes.
The cast features Nichole Ose as Kathy, Rachel Derrig as Sarah, Jeanette Tempel as Cheryl, Kelly Anderson as Abbie and Nikki Ehn as Emily.
Performances are scheduled for Sept. 18, 19, 25 and 26 at 7 p.m., with Sunday matinees Sept. 20 and 27 at 2 p.m.
All performances will be held at Webster City Community Theatre, 1001 Willson Ave., Webster City. Tickets may be purchased online by visiting webstercitycommunitytheatre.org or going directly to wccommtheatre.ludus.com.
Birthday Club is directed by Mary Sealine, with Abby Sharp serving as assistant director. KeVon Edwards is stage manager, Loween Getter is production manager, and Ann McLaughlin is technical director.
With plenty of laughs, a few surprises and a generous helping of heart, The Birthday Club offers audiences a warm and entertaining look at friendship, aging and the people who help us navigate both.
