The LifeServe Blood Center announced this week that the blood drive held last week at the Van Diest Medical Center was a great success.
The blood drive had 28 registered donors, with 22 successful procedures. 26 units of blood and plasma were collected, which could potentially impact 78 lives.
During the drive, there was one new donor, 1 who reached their first gallon of donations, and 1 person who hit the 14 gallon mark.
