If the creative bug hasn't hit you yet, just travel down to Seneca St. and drop in at the Legacy Learning-BRV for a bit of inspiration, and a chance to participate in three different workshops in October.
Coffee and Create is held each morning, so it's a perfect chance to drop in and find out what is happening during those events.
The first workshop creates a needle felt wall hanging. The cost is $45, and will be held on Thursday Oct. 8 from 1 to 4 p.m. During the workshop, participants will tame some wool with the art of needle felting from weaver Marilyn Andersenj and learn collage techniques from felt.
The Sourdough workshop will also return on October 15 to Legacy Learning. For $25, participants can learn the basics in a relaxed, hands on sourdough workshop. Learn how to take the mystery out of sourdough and during the workshop, learn how the process works. This workshop will run from 6 to 8 p.m.
The final workshop in October will be the Fall Sip & Paint, a BYOB event. For a cost of $30, this will be a creative, hands on class where pets are crafted into a one of a kind image, perfect for porches, patios or indoor displays. Bring your own beverages and snacks to share. This will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:39 p.m.
