CORRECTION:
The South Hamilton Homecoming court story on Friday gave the wrong names for the court. Those who were honored as part of the South Hamilton Homecoming Court were Rosemary Chamness, Aliya Erickson, Cici Herrick, Tessa Skartvedt, Kaden Dean, Jackson Olmstead, Ryan Oskvig and Justin Simmons.
Fall Festival at Faith
The annual fall festival will be held Saturday Oct. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
From 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. they will be serving warm caramel rolls and apple dumplings. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be a beef burger lunch.
The Faith United Methodist church is located at 2020 Superior St in Webster City.
The Fall festival will include baked goods, canned goods, crafts, seasonal items, quilts and other homemade items.
2027 Grant meeting to qualify for Enhance Hamilton County funding
The Enhance Hamilton County Foundation will hold it's 2027 annual grant meeting on Oct. 7 at 5 p.m. at the Stanhope Community Center.
Any organization considering applying for a 2027 EHVC Annual Grant are required to have a representative at the meeting.
Applications for the grants will open on October 15 and accepted through December 31, 2026.
WC Spanish club orders due by Thursday
Those selling butter braids to raise money for Toys for Toots in addition to providing funds to develop activities before school only have until Thursday to finalize their sales.
Orders must be submitted by October 1 to Katie Sonsalla or Mackenzie Crampton.
