Whiskers and Wine deadline is today
Today is the last day to purchase tickets for the Whiskers and Wine Comedy night which will be held next Saturday.
The event will be held at the Briggs Woods Conference Center, located at 2501 Briggs Woods Trail in Webster City. Entertainment will be provided by the comedy duo of Mike Leeds and Andy Anderson, with their Dueling Piano performance.
The cost of tickets are $50 each or $350 for a table of 8.Tickets can be purchased at The Cat Hut, located at 1008 Second St.
Civil War presentation Saturday
The Mulberry Center Church will host the presentation "Just before the Battle, Mother" presented by O.J. Fargo, a Civil War re-enactor from Creston.
The church is located in the Wilson Brewer Park at 220 Ohio St.
The program begins at 1 p.m. and is open to the public. There is no set fee to attend the program, but a free will donation is encouraged to help support future programs and help with the maintenance of the church.
Birthday Club opens tonight at WCCT
The Webster City Community Theatre will be opening their fall season tonight with "Birthday Club".
The show will start at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday
The doors open half an hour before the show begins. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at visiting webstercitycommunitytheatre.org or going directly to wccommtheatre.ludus.com. Tickets are $15 plus tax and fees.
