370th Street closed through Sept. 25
The Hamilton County Engineers department has announced that 370th St. between Ziegler Ave. and Zublin Ave. will remain closed until Friday Sept. 25. This is an extended closing due to weather delaying work while the Hamilton County Secondary road crews are replacing an old concrete bridge with a new CMP pipe.
Forest Bathing program Saturday at Briggs Woods: The healing nature of nature is Saturday
The Hamilton County Conservation office is hosting the program, "Forest Bathing: The Healing of Nature on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to noon. This will take place at the Briggs Woods Park in Shelter #2.
This immersive program invites people to slow down, breath deeply, reset and disconnect from technology and reconnect with nature and self.
Brenna Dixon, Iowa Master Naturalist on this immersive experience. Those participating might want a camp chair or blanket to take into the woods or prairie. Cell phones must be left in vehicles.
Rehearsals for Community Christmas concert begin Tuesday
The Webster City Community Chorus rehearsals for the annual Christmas Concerts start Tuesday Tuesday, September 22 at 6:30 at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Anyone who loves to sing and enjoy celebrating Christmas with music, are invited to participate. This music is in four parts, so sopranos, altos, tenors and bass singers are highly encouraged to participate. If you don't know what part you would sing best, just come with a ready voice and open heart.
Rehearsals will continue each week on Tuesday evenings.
