No City Council meeting on Monday
Due to the Labor Day Holiday Monday, the council meeting will be shifted to Tuesday, September 8 at 6 p.m.
Enhance Hamilton County workshop
The Enhance Hamilton County Foundation, in partnership with Hamilton County Growth Partnership, will host a workshop called "Funding Your Next Project" on Wednesday, September 9, at 5 p.m. at the Briggs Woods Conference Center.

Adult English Language classes to start Oct. 1
Iowa Central Community College is offering free English classes at the Webster City campus starting October 1.
The ICCC is located at 1725 Beach St. in Webster City. The classes will be held in the Tom Chelesvig building in room 205 and will be held in the evening from 5:30 to 8 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday.

The Daily Freeman Journal will not be producing a printed newspaper or a digital newspaper for Monday, September 8. Monday is a Federal holiday and there will be no mail service on Monday.
