Fuller Hall indoor swimming pool open for business

Lots to do through Webster City’s Recreation Department

It's the end of the summer season when the outdoor swimming pool closes. But for those who love the languishing strokes of swimming in the water, the indoor pool is now open for use.

For those who still enjoy the combination of heat and water, the city Splash Pad will be open until September 8.

The indoor pool opened last week and there are opportunities for family swimming times, Adult swimming, Aqua Size and Aqua Zumba according to Breanne Lesher.

The schedule is:

Adult lap swimming: Monday through Friday: Hours 6-8 p.m.; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Family open swimming: Monday through Friday: Hours 7-9 p.m.;Saturdays: 2 -4 p.m.; and 6-9 p.m.

Aquasize: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 9-10 a.m.

Aquazumba: Monday and Wednesday: 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Those who use the pool only need to have a pass or pay the daily fee, for the classes, there is an extra fee. Towels are available for use at the pool or anyone can bring their own from home, in addition to their swimsuits.

Also starting soon are the Youth Flag football teams, the Women's Pickleball league, a Coed Pickleball league, and slow pitch softball.

To register for any of the teams or leagues, call Fuller Hall at 515-832-9193.

Lesher also reminds the community that public restrooms are now open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the following city parks: East Twin Parks, West Twin Parks, Nokomis Park, Kendall Young Park and the Brewer Creek Shelter. The Brewer Creek Shelter entrance is on the north side of the building.
