Grab your purple and gold and head downtown for one of the most anticipated Market Nights of the summer! Webster City Market Nights invites the community to Back to School & Foam Night on Thursday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in downtown Webster City.
This exciting evening is the perfect way for families to celebrate the end of summer and kick off a new school year while supporting local students, businesses, and organizations.
One of the biggest attractions of the night will be Webster City Lynx athletes representing a variety of school sports. Kids and families are invited to meet their favorite athletes, play games, snap photos, and celebrate Lynx pride as our community gets ready for another great school year.
Adding to the excitement, a local high school band, called [Insert Band Name Here] will perform live throughout the evening. And no--it isn't a typo! "[Insert Band Name Here]" really is the band's official name. Come cheer on these talented young musicians as they share their passion for music and entertain the community.
The Webster City Elementary PTO will host “Pack the Bus”, collecting school supplies for local students. Community members are encouraged to bring donations such as backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, markers, glue sticks, folders, headphones, tissues, hand sanitizer and other classroom essentials to help ensure every child starts the school year ready to learn.
Families can also cool off during the evening with the always-popular Foam Party, generously sponsored by the Kendall Young Library. Kids of all ages are invited to jump, dance, laugh, and play in mountains of foam for one last unforgettable summer celebration.
In addition to the special activities, Market Nights will feature dozens of local vendors, downtown shopping, delicious food, sweet treats, and live entertainment, making it a fun-filled evening for all ages.
In the downtown areas, visitors will be able to enjoy the following:

"Back to School Night is one of our favorite Market Nights because it brings together everything that makes Webster City such a wonderful community," said Robin Streigle. "It's an opportunity to support our students, celebrate our schools, encourage local businesses, and spend an evening making memories with family and friends before the school year begins."
