WCCT to Hold Annual Meeting

2 min read

The Webster City Community Theatre will celebrate another year of live, local theater and look ahead to its upcoming 59th Season during the organization's annual meeting and potluck on Sunday, Sept. 13, at 5:30 p.m. at the theatre.

The annual gathering provides an opportunity for WCCT members, volunteers, patrons and anyone interested in community theatre to learn more about the organization. The evening will include a look back at highlights from the past year as well as a preview of the productions, programs and activities planned for WCCT's 59th Season.

WCCT will also recognize the many volunteers who make its productions and activities possible throughout the year. Several special awards of appreciation will be presented during the evening.

The annual meeting will be held as a potluck. Those attending are asked to bring a main dish, side dish or dessert to share, along with their own beverage. Tableware will be provided.

Annual WCCT membership dues of $10 may also be paid at the meeting. Membership is open to anyone interested in supporting community theatre.

The event is open to current and prospective members, volunteers and friends of WCCT. Those interested in becoming involved with the theatre -- whether on stage, behind the scenes or in other volunteer roles -- are especially encouraged to attend.

For nearly six decades, Webster City Community Theatre has brought area residents together to create and enjoy live theatre while providing opportunities for people of all ages and experience levels to become involved in the performing arts.
