Market Nights tonight focuses on food, back to school, and local shopping

The Bushes, who live in Callendar, had a large supply of cucumbers, string beans, kohlrabi, onions, zucchini and many varieties of tomatoes last week, and expect more this week. Market Night tonight is the annual Back to School night, with a foam party to cap off the focus on children tonight.

The Webster City Lynx athletes representing a variety of school sports will be on hand to talk with the younger students, allowing photos with favorite athletes, play games, snap photos, and celebrate Lynx pride.

Music will be provided by a high school band called [Insert Band Name Here] throughout the evening. And no--it isn't a typo! "[Insert Band Name Here]" really is the band's official name. These young musicians will be sharing their love for music and entertain the community in the Availa Plaza.

This is also the night to Pack the Bus, collecting school supplies for local students.

The Webster City Elementary PTO hosts this event, encouraging community members to bring donations such as backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, markers, glue sticks, folders, headphones, tissues, hand sanitizer and other classroom essentials to help ensure every child starts the school year ready to learn.

And just for fun, the always-popular Foam Party, sponsored by the Kendall Young Library encourages kids of all ages to jump, dance, laugh and play in mountains of foam for one last unforgettable summer celebration.
