360th St. closed today

The Hamilton County Engineers office announced that 360th St. between Tollman Ave. and Deer Run Road will be closed today between 7 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

During this period, a tile line road crossing is being completed.

Parks & Rec Commission meets Thursday

The Webster City Parks and Rec Commission will meet Thursday at 5:15 p.m. The meeting will be held at Fuller Hall in the Sampson room. Fuller Hall is located at 625 Bank St.

The agenda includes the budget, park updates, Storybook Walk project, spraying the parks, cemetery and city owned spaces, Kendall Young Park fishing access, recreation program updates and the final report for the Outdoor Pool.

The next meeting will be on September 17.

Conservation board to meet August 27

The Hamilton County Conservation board will meet Thursday, August 27 at the Hamilton County Conservation office located at 2490 Briggs Woods Trail.

The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m.

On the agenda will be an update on projects, trail repairs on JewEllsworth Trail, the Handicapped accessible hunting blind and a report from the Golf Course Superintendent. There will also be updates from Bolten and Menk and the McCollough Design, in addition to agreements with USFWS and Iowa Soybean Association and the Prairie Partners Cost share agreement. The meeting will wrap up with a report from the Executive Director
