Kendall Young Library Board meets tonight
The Board of Trustees for the Kendall Young Library meets tonight at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held in the meeting room in the lower level of the library located at 1200 Willson Avenue.
On the agenda are the Farmer's National Report, the Harvest Dinner, financial reports, board training on opening meetings, and open records, in addition to the Directors' report. Items from old business include the financial reports for the past 4 years, meaning of the logo, meeting room and confidentiality policies and Hoopla.
Public input is at the beginning of the meeting.
Jam Session cancelled for August
The Blairsburg Jam Session, held at the Blairsburg Opera House normally on the 4th Friday of the month has been cancelled for August. The next Jam Session will be on Friday, September 25.
Register now for Better Choices, Better Health
The six week workshop to be held at the Van Diest Medical Center in September is ready for registrations.
The workshop will be held Thursdays from September 17 until October 22. Each class will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon each week.

First day of school at WCCS
August 24 is the first day of classes for the Webster City Community Schools for students in grades K-12.
August 31 is the first day of classes for Pre-school.
