Depot museum opens at Wilson Brewer Park

Artifacts from the Webster City and Hamilton County area, school memorabilia and inventions created by local residents are all part of the diverse exhibits.
Day Okay Jazz Project to entertain at Garden Party tonight
At 7 p.m. tonight, the Day Okay Jazz Project will again set the stage for a relaxing community event in the 700 block of 2nd St. in Webster City.

The event will last until 10 a.m., weather permitting. If inclement weather seems imminent, it will be called off, and notices will be on their Facebook page.
The evening is casual and encourages attendees to bring their own chairs, snacks and drinks. This is a free event, but they will be accepting donations to help support the maintenance of the Richard C. Carlson Garden.

There is no fixed fee to go through the museum, but donations are encouraged to help maintain the park facilities.
Practical Farmers to study oxbows Saturday
A Practical Farmers Field Day will be held Saturday at the Selden Spencer property located north of Webster City.
The site is at 1949 185th St. The workshop begins at 9 a.m. and lasts until 11 a.m.
This will be an on-site tour of the oxbow that has been re-established on White Fox Creek.
