Deer tags go on sale on August 15
The deer tags sold in Hamilton County go on sale at midnight on August 15. There are 100 licenses available for Hamilton County, not just at the courthouse. These are specific to how many antlerless tags can be sold for Hamilton County but those can be sold by anyone in any county that is a DNR Hunting and Fishing vendor. There are no limits on the actual antlered deer tags. Licenses can also be purchased for all other counties and they each have their own quota of varying numbers.
