Fort Dodge streets to close for Tritt concert

Some downtown restrictions already in place

Parts of several downtown streets will be closed for the Fort Dodge County Jam featuring Travis Tritt, and one of those closures begins today.

The concert will be Saturday evening at the intersection of Central Avenue and Ninth Street.

Here are the street closures as released by the city Wednesday evening:

Ninth Street between Central Avenue and First Avenue North will close at 8:30 a.m. today and remain closed until 3 p.m. Sunday.

Central Avenue between Eighth and 10th streets will close at 8 a.m. Friday.

Ninth Street between Central Avenue and First Avenue South will close at 8 a.m. Friday and remain closed until 4 a.m. Sunday

The DART bus stop on the east side of Ninth Street between Central Avenue and First Avenue South will be moved to the 900 block of First Avenue South on Friday.

They are also available at these local businesses:

• Hy-Vee, 115 S. 29th St.

• Availa Bank, 130 N. 29th St.

• First Interstate Bank, 825 Central Ave. and 201 S. 25th St.

• GreenState Credit Union, 1207 Central Ave.

• Peoples Credit Union in both Fort Dodge and Webster City.

Tickets cost $55.

Children age 12 and younger are admitted free if they are accompanied by an adult.

All tickets are general admission, festival style seating. Bring your own chair.

Ninth Street between Central Avenue and First Avenue North will close at 8:30 a.m. Thursday and will remain closed until 3 p.m. Sunday.

Central Avenue between Eighth and 10th streets will close at 8 a.m. Friday

Ninth Street between Central Avenue and First Avenue South will be closed at 8 a.m. Friday and will reopen at 4 a.m. Sunday.
