The special election on September 8, will determine the next steps taken by the Webster City School Board.

The ballot includes 3 questions:

Each asks: Shall these public measures be adopted?

The beginning of the questions lists the various ways the funds can be used, and then asks voters to authorize for a period of 3 years, a levy increase of .57 per $1,000 of the assessed valuation of the taxable property within the school district beginning in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2028.

The second question asks if they would authorize for a period of 10 years to levy annually a voter approved physical plant and equipment property tax not to exceed one dollar, thirty-four cents per thousand of the assessed value.

The third question specifies the use of revenues the Webster City Community School District will receive from the State of Iowa Secure an Advanced Vision for Education Fund.

A sample ballot is located on page 5 which includes the complete wording of each item.
